First – First Class Meal
our flight attendants were so kind to pass extra first class meals to us this morning!

Our airline has just started offering first-class service and first class meals are available for flights over 800 miles. This is the first time we’ve had extra meals so we got a treat! A curious thing about it was that it came with real silver (flat) ware – now when I go through security (in full uniform) I have to hide my pocket knife otherwise they will take it away from me. But notice in the photo below the knife that is provided to the passengers when they get on-board! Hmmm, something dosn’t seem right about this picture! (my red-handle pocket knife in between the fork and knife)

In case you were wondering, I have rode first class before as a passenger – and back in the late ’60s eaten a few very good meals!

I took this early morning photo while waiting for the passengers to board. We had finished all the ‘first-flight-of-the-day’ checks and the ‘before-start’ checks and were just waiting for the passenger count and cargo load form.
